Our Dentist
Dr. Taylor graduated from Captain Shreve High School before receiving his bachelor's degree at LSU Baton Rouge where he was on the Dean's list. He received his Dental Degree at the University of Tennessee in Memphis, where he was also on the Dean's List. Taylor completed his residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry at LSU School of Dentistry in New Orleans before returning to join his father's practice in Shreveport.
Taylor is a member of the American Dental Association, Northwest Louisiana Dental Association, the River Bend Rotary Club, The Southern Hills Business Association, the Krewe of Gemini and the Independence Bowl Foundation. His practice includes a wide variety of services, such as, extractions, restorative dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, root canals and of course cleanings and examinations.
"Working with my father has been a blessing," Taylor said. "I enjoy the many different aspects of general dentistry and have enjoyed watching Shreveport and our practice grow and develop over the last several years. One nice aspect of dentistry is that you get to talk with so many different people every day."
He is better known by his patients as "Dr. Scott" to differentiate him from his father, Dr. Scott L. Taylor. Together they strive to provide the best possible service to their patients and the community they call home.
